Maintain your style with loads of layers on
As winter approaches, the Bay Area has definitely cooled down. This is my absolute favorite time of the year, especially with black Friday just passing, I have some new clothes i'd love to show you. Sales are high right now, so if you get the chance to go out shopping, make sure your hitting those great deals. I have been filling my closet with sweaters, coats, and long sleeves to prepare for the upcoming months! I always find it difficult to stay stylish in such cold weather, but I have found some helpful ways to keep it up.
Sweaters, of course, have become a staple recently and there are so many different styles and colors to choose from. I recommend filling your closet with cute and comfy sweaters because there are endless ways to wear them. Here are some of my favorites that keep me super warm and still keep me feeling fashionable. I found these at a thrift store in SF for a great price but I've seen many similar styles at Forever 21, American Eagle, and even Macy's for great deals.
I highly recommend that you invest in a lined jean jacket too. They come in so many sizes and colors, but will seriously keep you warm. You can style them with almost any pair of jeans and can layer it with long sleeves or sweaters. And, how adorable is denim on denim? I found this at the Gap and wear it as often as I can!
My favorite new item this season is my black corduroy bootcut overalls. They are so fun and adorable and It was definitely a step out of my comfort zone. I got them for a great deal at a thrift store but I have seen identical ones at Forever 21. The material makes these so warm and you can wear any sweater underneath or a colorful long sleeve to make it your own. I loved pairing a variety of shoes with these because they are so versatile. I recently have worn leopard print short boots to add some pattern and color.
Try to stay warm as the days get colder, but remember, always keep your style!
